ABC Warriors

Basically, there's an overarching system, sort of skirmish game system, And they've bolted on various settings.

There's a Slain one, there's a Strontium Dogs one, there's an ABC Warriors one, there's a Judge Dredd one.

And in fact, on my Patreon, and at some point it'll pop up on the channel, I did a sort of a deep dive into the ABC Warriors version of the game.

And we've played the ABC Warriors, we've played the Strong Tim Dogs, we've played the Judge Dredd one, and we thought we would chat a bit about the Judge Dredd version.

Because I think it's a particularly interesting one in relation to the overarching system they've got and what they actually chose to do with it.

And in some ways, the IP of Judge Dredd itself...

Then you get like a lot of like action sci-fi stuff like ABC Warriors, which is about a seven robot warriors uh bringing peace to mars uh and there's like oh there's rogue trooper rogue trooper may become more uh that's the other one i was thinking

well rogue troopers has a duncan jones made a rogue trooper movie that is making its way through um various uh uh film um festivals film festivals

Rebellion is the video game developer who owns 2000 AD.

They made a publishing deal with Rebellion to reprint 2000 AD material in North America.

So there was a whole line of DC published books that came out, including stuff like Rogue Trooper, Astrodium Dog, and ABC Warriors, and The fairly popular stuff.

Oddly enough, not a lot of Judge Dredd.

But... 2008, very important comic, from Britain, still going, it's got Judge Dredd, it's where Judge Dredd's from.

It's the home of Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Rogue Trooper, the ABC Warriors, Nemesis the Warlock.

Yes, and many more.

And this time they've got more stories in it than they usually do, because they used to do special issues that were to get kids into comics I'll

And I think within 2000 AD, you also have that, right? Where it's sort of like, well, what is it that you're into, right? Because, you know, you can be like me and be a giant nemesis person and other people will be like, ah, I can take it or leave it.

Like it doesn't, you know, more of an ABC Warriors type, you know, myself.

There are so many options that it does like, it's a pick your lane sort of thing for a lot of people, I think.

I mean, it's the Brink Dilemma.
