Abby Finkenauer

As for the second district, that's that open seat because Ashley Henson is running for Senate.

Lindsay James, her profile is similar to Abby Finkenauer, state representative from Dubuque who flipped that district in 2018.

And Joe Mitchell is not deeply rooted in the area.

He only moved to Northeast Iowa about a year ago.

But I feel that the Republican nominee up there, Joe Mitchell, is not a good fit for the district.

And the Democratic candidate, Lindsay James, who's a state legislator from Dubuque, she has a similar background to Abby Finkenauer, who flipped the previous version of that district in 2018.

There are a couple of third party candidates on the ballot there, so it's a bit of a scramble.

But I absolutely have thought all year that the second district of Iowa is in play.
