So-

And that is, like, a huge part of why we feel decent about the depth of this offensive line, that they could just find some other veterans that can go in the interior to be just good enough.

Aaron Stinnie, a former starter, Lucas Patrick, a former starter.

We'll see if Brian Hudson makes the team.

Love that Lucas Patrick and Brian Hudson as two veterans are pushing each other for backup center and maybe backup guard too.

They got Francis Maunakea that they just drafted in the first round that's playing at right guard.

They got Aaron Stinnie, a long time guard that they've got backing that up, that has played multiple games for the Giants over the past couple of seasons, and then they recently acquired Patrick Lucis- Lucas to be kind of the center and other interior offensive lineman.

They actually feel pretty good about their depth over there on that lineup, so I completely get why they would part with this player, why they would try and get literally anything for him.

And again, I don't think he's been so impressive that you had people beating down their door to try and trade for him, which is why it's a future future sixth.

Now let's talk guard.

So you've got Joshua Ezudu, Evan Neal, Aaron Stinnie, Jake Kubas.

Those are the four main guards, and again, Patrick, Hudson, and James, they can all play guard, but I kind of push them into the center category.

If I had to take a guess right now, I think the backup guards are gonna be Stinnie and Ezudu.

Andrew Thomas, Jermaine Eluemunor, and CC Maluinoa.

Uh, so that means your backup offensive tackles, uh, did well, along with John Michael Schmidt, Jon Runyan, and Aaron Stinnie.

So I, I think you're pretty happy, and I guess we could start on offense first, that the offense was pretty efficient, moved the ball.

Uh, you maybe like a few more touchdowns and a few less field goals maybe.

He got hand- hands on guys, and just consistently had power and stalled their rush.

Um, you know, in the run game, him and Stinnie were working guys on combos.

You saw the torque in his hands, like, we can talk a little bit, uh, more about it, but like, I was, I was just pumped for a guy who was truly on my like, "All right," like, "You, you caught my attention week one.

Week two, let's see it again." Well, they gave him every opportunity to have an excuse to fail, and I thought he, he might have been the best player on the offense.

That's something I kinda wanna see," you know, whatever, and the, the next day we found out that's exactly what was gonna happen.

JC Davis stayed with the left tackle spot the whole game, and he looked very solid, absolutely rock solid in all phases, right? Mentally, I don't think there were any mental mistakes at all.

He handled the stunts well, and the Dolphins threw quite a number of stunts his way, and it didn't matter if he had Jon Runyan next to him or I think at one point Evan Neal, Aaron Stinnie was next to him.

There were a lot of rotating guys at the left guard position next to him.

Yeah

..."why don't, you know, why wouldn't we take this pick?" And so y- I was like, you thought it was probably Aaron Stinnie, but then you go there today, and Maui Noah goes off the field, and who's the first one in? Josh Uzuegbunu.

Uzuegbunu.

So m- it is possible that they are more, been more impressed with Josh Uzuegbunu at the guard position and feel that at least he could be a serviceable backup guard.

And I honestly think I kinda like Aaron Stinnie as a backup player.

Me too.

I think he's a player you can get by with.

Then offensive linemen, we have JC Davis, Jermaine Eluemunor, Joshua Uzuu, Jared Gray, Brenden James, CeCe Malaea.

We're up to 10, okay? Then we still have Marcus Poe, Evan Neal, Lucas Patrick, Ryan Sernicki, Aaron Stinnie, and of course, our most beloved offensive lineman of all time, Andrew Thomas.

So that puts the Giants at 16 offensive linemen.

Um, I, I'm curious to see what they do when it comes to the roster.
