A safe distance between them obviously.
32:06
Yeah.
32:07
Yeah, I, I, I mean, the, the explosion, you know, uh, uh, in my day job I'm an accessibility trainer, so I, I train other blind people on y- you know, technology, computers, and iPhones, and, you know, iPads and all that stuff.
32:18
And, you know, the explosion in the last, you know, two, two years, 18 months, um, of being able to use AI, you know, the integration of PictureSmart with JAWS so you can just, you know, get on any image and just have it describe it to you, you know, suddenly opens up the internet to be much more dynamic than what it was before with, you know, just image, image, image, and that's all you get.
32:38
Um, you know, uh, so, you know, same with the, the, the iPhone where you, you know, you could share that image to, you know, whatever your, you know, Be My Eyes or, or, or, uh, IRA or whoever you want to kind of give you the AI description of an image.
32:51
So all of that has kind of opened things up, you know, the, the, the describe what's on my screen for the, you know, even n- the game that I was playing or something, you know, m- maybe more, uh, uh, everyday life.
33:02
You know, you're trying, you're on a banking app and y- it won't read you your balance, uh, you know, Voiceover won't get focused on your balance.
37:05
... reality of, of losing vision?
256:25
He was gonna be here today, but he just was feeling a bit under the weather, so.
256:29
So yes, thank you very much for having me.
256:31
I'm sorry that I can't be there in person, but I don't think you all want me getting you sick, so I figured I'd just call in remotely.
256:39
But I did get a opportunity, um, a couple weeks ago to go to London to participate in the Video Game Accessibility Symposium that was put on by the RNIB, or the Royal National Institute of Blind People, as well as the University College London, um, who put on this symposium.
256:59
And how I ended up getting involved in that, as Dave mentioned, I am the chairperson of the Audio Description Project's gaming subcommittee, and that is, um, really focused in onYou know, basically gaming accessibility, doing policy, advocacy, and education.
257:19
And we have, uh, the, the members of that group, just to give you kind of a sense of who's on that, we have two elite gamers.
257:26
So we have, uh, if some people are into gaming culture, we have, uh, SightlessKombat as well as Rattlhead as two of the elite gamers who are on that committee.
