Aaron Allston

I've worked on over 100 different role-playing game products, including several superhero products.

Possibly the one you might know me the most from is the 2016 version of Aaron Alston's Strikeforce.

I was the lead developer on that project.

Bill contributed to it, and it's excellent.

And then you have friends, family, people that you interact with that are different from being when you when you have the mask on.

And I think that's important is to build sort of try to build both identities.

This is something that Aaron Alston, we talked about earlier, he gets into is getting into situations where the civilian ID needs to deal with issues that can't be punched or blasted.

Right.

I mean, it just, I gravitate towards those, uh, you know, X-Wing style stories.

Uh, the X-Wing book series from the original cannon from the late '90s was one of my favorite book series, uh, by Aaron Allston and, um, uh, Mike Stackpole, uh-

Yes

... who had-

And it's mainly Stackpole writing, right? There was one other author.

Alston, yeah.

O-S-T-E-N, right?

Yep.

Aaron Alston.

A-L-L-S-T-O-N.

Oh, A-L-L-S-T-O.

Oh, good point.

Unlike, unfortunately, Aaron Alston, the late great Aaron Alston, who did our Raid Squadron books, I will say did get his autograph.

Did get his autograph back in 2012.

Nice.

Oh, Aaron

Alston.

Another Aaron Alston.

Yes.

Something dark, something dangerous.

It's Fate of the Jedi Outcast by Aaron Alston.

And joining me to talk about the book today is my buddy, Dan.

Welcome back to the show, Dan.

You'll want to stick around for that.

Now it's time for today's episode.

Outcast by Aaron Alston.

The first book in the Fate of the Jedi series.
