Aaliyah Nye

Then, in 2014, Chris Wondolowski, Kiowa, is named to the NCAA Division two 40th Anniversary Tribute Team, a national honor recognizing his collegiate career at Chico State.

Finally, in 2025, Aaliyah Nye, Gun Lake, Potawatomi, becomes a WNBA champion as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Phoenix Mercury 97 to 86 to complete a four-game finals sweep.

Nye earns a championship in her rookie season after appearing in all 44 regular season games and six playoff games for Las Vegas.

That wraps up another week of incredible moments in Indian All-Stars history.

Cam Brink is out.

Aaliyah Nye is out.

I mean, I'm just going to lay it.

Like, I'm not even going to really think much

I think it's too early to say that, but I think we have a little bit of glimpse in the types of players that they've been signing recently.

They They waived Kay Martin because they wanted to sign Aaliyah Nye, picker off waivers, a, you know, supposed to be a three-point shooting specialist.

Hasn't really had the opportunity to really show it so far in the first two seasons, but that was somebody that the Sparks kind of had on their draft board.

You know, Coach Lynn Roberts told me that, you know, they always knew they wanted to get Sarah Ashley Barker with that pick, but they were also hoping that Aaliyah and I would be back around on that second round, and they could just bring her too, right? And so now that they've finally been able to get her, and then they've also added a couple more developmental players.

Alyssa Peely was also waved by the spark.

Cheyenne Sellers and Aaliyah Nye both signed to the sparks.

Of course, we had the signing of Dewana Bonner in Atlanta, which came with the waving of Aaliyah Nye and our rookie, Jalen Sherrod um Melissa Smith is out for the regular season on the Aces and signed Kalani Brown big beautiful Kalani Brown we love Kalani Brown uh and the Liberty signed Maddie Scott who I believe is from where you're from in Virginia
