A Wilhelm Scream

You know, we cut our teeth like starting to hit the road a lot around then.

Like we did like a month and a half long tour to a lot of empty rooms and a lot of full rooms too of like a Wilhelm scream, Break the Silence.

That was a great time around then.

We did get to go out with Rise Against, No More Black, Against Me.

That was fun.

And from there...

Uh, because of mainly a Wilhelm scream a little bit, uh, and just like kind of working our asses off, we got a little bit of, uh, notice from Nitro.

Um, and I guess like Dexter, uh, with all the screamo that was going on, like since that was kind of a big thing around that time, like wanted to put out more punk rock bands.

Um, then instead of buying too many records this summer, I decided to buy way too many posters for my office and my record room.

So I got posters from the Bridge City Sinners' 2025 tour, Pennywise/Mellencamp's Australia 2026 tour, the Rumjacks European 2025 tour, April Eve's European 2025 tour, Authority Zero's European 2026 tour, Face to Face's 35th anniversary in, in LA, Wilhelm Scream's Australia 2026 tour, Teenage Bottle Rocket and Authority Zero's Florida tour, Arch Enemy's 2025 Blood Dynasty tour, and then just a normal Thursday poster.

Um, and of course, too many records landing as well.

Hot Water-

Head Above the Clouds was, like, a random demo I found on my phone that was, like, seven years old, and I was like, "Oh, I like something about this," and, like, just went one day, threw it into, like, went into Garage Band, and just, like, made a song out of, like, a very basic little snippet from my phone.

So you recorded the album with, uh, Trevor from the great, uh, New Bedford heroes, uh, Wilhelm Scream.

Um, when you went to him, was everything pretty fully formed, or did he help you tease out some of those ideas or, you know, 'cause I know sometimes in the studio it's a different process, you know.

You might be fleshing things out or sometimes it's just like boom, boom, boom, I know what I'm doing, and-
