So I'm excited to see what they have.

And there's some pretty big productions that have been taking advantage of that tax credit recently, including A Quiet Place sequel, which just wrapped, and The Gilded Age, which is coming out in November.

Can't wait for that.

And the city says productions employ New Yorkers and support businesses across the five boroughs.

Anyway, that was an intriguing, fascinating, you must watch it as one of the most sort of, I don't know, one of the most batshit crazy, odd, but moody and atmospheric films that Nick Cage has ever been in.

He also directed A Quiet Place Day One, which is, I think, the third film in that franchise.

And for me, I have to say, I think one of the best.

Me and Maddy saw that.

I feel like this is very similar to Pig.

He also did The Quiet Place, day one, which I also thought looked great.

I think he really, like, he's really great with, yeah, that sense of atmosphere and, like, dread.

And that whole opening you were talking about was so violent and so, like, grim and, like...

He played Hamlet in Hamlet.

He is also one of the kids in The Quiet Place movies, one of the, the three kids.

Uh, he most, most recently, this is what's interesting, he was most recently, uh, starred opposite Sadie Sink in the West End's Romeo and Juliet on stage, and he got really good reviews.

And Sadie Sink is now Jean Grey.

Later reporting suggests that ultimately it goes nowhere.

And none of this would be possible without director Michael Sarnoski at the helm.

You may know him from the personal touch he brought to A Quiet Place day one, or for helping remind everyone how good Nicolas Cage is with his debut feature Pig, But his work here is something really special.

It's clear how much thought he's put into this material.

And that was equally clear to me when we sat down for a conversation about the film.

That seems really, really impressive.

Your first film, A Wonderful Film, is a completely original work.

Then you followed that up with A Quiet Place, day one.

And it's striking to me that you've kind of made this film, which is largely about stories and about why we tell them, off the back of kind of taking someone else's story and making it your own.
