You know, these, these, that, those were the numbers that they were commanding for that few years.

But I think the, um, I, I have to, from my perspective that where things kinda changed was when I was at Blue Underground and we did the Mondo Cane collection, and it basically, you know, I got to do a feature documentary thanks to Bill Lustig, and he had that same mania that I did, where basically he was like, "Well, if we're doing Mondo Cane and Africa Addio, we should probably do Mondo Cane 2." And then somebody, one of his friends comes in, and it's like, "What about Women of the World?" I'd never even heard of Women of the World at the time.

And he's like, "Shit, yeah, we better do Women of the World as well." And then of course somebody comes up and is like, "Well, what about Goodbye Uncle Tom?"

I was like, you know, "How? How did they g- did they make these movies back then? How did they get this footage back then?" As, as, as inappropriate as, as Africa Addio might be, it's like, that, fuck, that took some balls to go, you know, into some of those, uh, war-torn situations and be filming.

And so basically it, they could get away with doing, you know, what they thought were weird customs, you know? It's, it's very easy for us to look now, 'cause it's so much easier to travel and get information about places.

I couldn't base it on that, but we have narration, of course, and we show all sorts of atrocities, and we show some sweet things about animals as well, but a lot of it is atrocities.

Of course, without Mondo Connie from the 6263, Francisco Posperi, and the other two guys, we wouldn't have stuff like this, right? That was such a groundbreaking movie that everybody decided to rip it off even 20 years later, and this is way late for this subgenre.

I mean, when would Mondo Magic? It had to be in the 70s.

I can't remember all these Mondo movies that came out, but You know, this one is way too late, 83.
