And AA Allen was just preaching and was sharing the secrets to the power of God in his own life and all the things that God did him.

And when he was done talking, the people were watching.

Yeah.

But I've been really convicted by, you know, by your life, by my study of the Gospels, and by a man named AA Allen, who you actually turned me on to.

And he, and he has a little red book, and in it he highlights that the Lord showed, um, showed in this verse, "It is enough for the servant to be like his master." And that's what I like about these Orbis conferences is like, "Hey, wh- what if we, what if we were just like Jesus?" Like, I appreciate all these ideas and innovations and creativity, but is any...

You know, when the Son of Man returns, is He gonna find faith on the Earth? Is anybody gonna be doing what Jesus did when He comes back? And that is my heart.

What Durham created is something that would evolve over time, but what he changed really matters because the framework that he developed for the sanctification process, it became widely spread throughout the healing revival.

William Branham, Oral Roberts, A.A. Allen, T.L. Osborne, all of these guys are preaching the Durham side of the equation because it invited people of different types of faith into the movement rather than openly rejecting them because they could not get along with this.

Whenever you think about that and then think what came later, the Lateran movement developed after this, and there was this cross-pollination of ideas from people who were Pentecostal and people who weren't Pentecostal.

Whenever Branham died and it started to transition into the charismatic movement, charismatic renewal, you had people like John Wimber who were building on ideas that they probably didn't even take all the way back to, historically back to Durham.

It said, so he lived a great life, but he went off at the end.

Now, A.A. Allen's granddaughter is a personal friend of Melinda and mine.
