Last year, the celebrations they had, it was the same, very good day that Gershon had it played along with many other bands and it was just such nice energy and so we're Everyone's got the same sort of outlook and expectations that the day is going to be very similar in that the fans and the bands and everyone just jump on board and are there for all the right reasons to celebrate community radio, which is never a bad thing.

it's um a lot of you know our artists do I guess get their um you know their first startup is being played on community radio so a lot of uh respect and homage is certainly paid to 4ZZZ that's been a definitely a um a pillar in a lot of their early careers so it's good yeah so um anything that you're wanting to hope to do when you come out to Australia that you haven't done yet um

It sets a standard and an ex- and an expectation, and it just means that the dispute would've been easier to come to a resolution.
Río RobayoGUEST
13:08
I mean, if there had been, if Triple, uh, if Oz Comic-Con [laughs] not Triple Zed, if Oz Comic-Con had just said like, "Yes, we allow AI art," then, like, the other vendors or convention goers would've been like, "Okay, well, I don't like this, but I wanna take it out on Oz Comic-Con rather than this vendor." And if they did have a strong rule against AI, then this vendor wouldn't have shown up in the first place.
Río RobayoGUEST
13:28
And I think this, in my opinion, this trying to play at both sides is just them trying to like, you know, like not take responsibility or also knowing if they did just allow AI, they would alienate a lot of their artist ally who really, um, a- art is their li- livelihood, and I think they'd feel justifiably threatened and put off by seeing vendors selling AI stuff.
Río RobayoGUEST

And also just on a side part for me, I also feel that there's unfortunately a bit of misog- unfortunately a bit of misogyny in this story.

And you guys are quite popular for community radio because sometimes it's a bit of a, you know, it falls down by the wayside with the commercials, I think, in other capital cities.
Ali WilliamsHOST

I think sometimes community radio actually challenges people commercial radio in in more ways than we kind of see only because they commercial radio has has the rating system as well as the abc and sbs as well community radio don't have any of that but if you count up all of the subscribers and all that kind of stuff that keep them On air.
MaxHOST
