His conservation efforts have led to meaningful change for the beautiful Guatemalan rivers and coastline and the people who call that home.

So he was actually the very first country manager in Guatemala representing 4Ocean, which, for those of you that don't know, is an organization that employs full-time captains and cleanup crews to remove trash from the world's waterways.

So after that successful endeavor, Kevin was not done with conservation.

Instead, he saw a unique opportunity to turn waste into into wearables.

And telling them about my story of how did I end up in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, and what I was seeing.

And within a month, they came to visit for three days.

Two executives from 4Ocean came to visit.

And we showed them around Guatemala City with the recycling industry.
