uh that has been used has been tested in research and so the products themselves uh the nitro are tried and true products that do restrict or reduce nitrification they're great but you know they only provide a short window a two to three week window i refer to them as as um they reduce the risk of loitering nitrogen loitering nitrate okay so it just gives you two to three weeks of insurance in case it got wet and warm that you're not leaching out your nitrates so with a full application oh wow that's that's really challenging we find that challenging even with fertilizers with the fall application it just gives you about a two to three week window now in the prairies where the fall rapidly declines in temperature and we get freeze up You know, they can be useful because, for example, they can help in October of preventing nitrification in October.
