2060 Chiron

So I'll be curious to hear what new adventure, what subject or what experience has come up, maybe one that even really excites you, right? Yeah.

On the 17th, we have got Chiron stepping into, Chiron's already retrograde, but it's stepping back into the vibration of Aries.

Now, this is not going to be happening until the evening.

It's at 9.51 p.m., okay? So Chiron, as we talk about it, I think it's kind of interesting because Chiron is taught as the centaur.

right? The centaur who is our wounded healer, representing these places in our chart where our own experience of pain, rejection, vulnerability, or inadequacy have become these sources of not only pain, but then they're the wisdom.

They're also the medicine to it, right? Chiron's been moving through Aries since 2018.

It entered into Taurus just this year in June of On the 19th? The 19th.

Then it stationed retrograde in Taurus on August 8th.

Their lifespans as centaurs are cosmically brief, which means every single one visible today must have left the belt relatively recently.

The most famous centaur is Chiron, discovered in 1977 orbiting between Saturn and Uranus.

Chiron was initially classified as an asteroid, But later observations revealed that it periodically develops a coma, a fuzzy envelope of gas and dust, even at its enormous distance from the Sun.

This coma indicated that volatile ices on Chiron's surface were sublimating, just as they do on comets much closer to the Sun.

Chiron became one of the first objects to blur the boundary between asteroid and comet.

and its discovery hinted at the existence of a transitional population between the Kuiper belt and the inner solar system before the belt itself had even been confirmed.

Other notable centaurs include Pholus, an extremely red object whose surface colour suggests organic rich material preserved from the outer solar system.

Anyway, so that's what I would watch for.

But when the actual square sets in, the moon will actually be in Taurus, and it will be conjunct Chiron.

So, uh, that is definitely kind of touching on where we have some emotional wounds that are coming up.

I mean, moon is, um, obviously very strong in Taurus.

It is exalted here, so it's about pleasure, resources, stability, generally good mood.

Um, but Chiron retrograde is basically saying there are some financial issues underway, or there are some, uh, conflicts revolving around values, security, food, nourishment, things that are connected to feeling safe.

And zero degrees is a very potent degree, especially of the fixed signs, because it does kind of represent where if we've been at odds with ourselves physically, now it manifests and translates to, well, how we treat ourselves, how we talk to ourselves, and also whether or not we feel safe, abundant or secure.

So emotional wounding comes up here.
