Think about that.

Yehuda was just 22 years old when he fought in the horrific battle of Sultan Yaakov during the First Lebanon War on June 11, 1982.

An Israeli armed force advanced into the Beqaa Valley and found itself caught in a deadly battle with Syrian forces.

20 Israeli soldiers were killed in the battle.

Separately, the nation is observing a moment of closure for a long-lost soldier.

The IDF recovered and subsequently buried the remains of Sergeant First Class Yehuda Katz, who went missing during the First Lebanon War 44 years ago.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the family to offer condolences, expressing deep emotion over Katz's return and sorrow that his parents passed away before they could see him home.

The Prime Minister's office noted Katz was described by his family as a Torah scholar, a man of values and a professional and devoted fighter.

This past Friday, an emotional ceremony taking place, a funeral at the Mount of Olives Cemetery in Jerusalem.

Staff Sergeant First Class Yehuda Yekutiel Katz buried on Friday, 44 years after he fell in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub during the First Lebanon War.

Uh, his remains, his whereabouts really unknown for many, many years.

A special operation here to retrieve his remains.

Well, just an indication that the Israel does not leave soldiers behind.

It would have been very easy for Israel to just let the bones lie where they were.

I mean, Katz went down in the First Lebanon War in 1982.

Uh, so you know, that you see now you're something like 44 years later, Israel operates a cov- covert, uh, operation, military operation to get his remains and to bring them back to Israel.

And in other news, Sergeant First Class Yehuda Katz has been laid to rest 44 years after the Battle of Sultan Yaqub.

His burial closes the final missing soldier case from that painful engagement in the 1982 First Lebanon War.

Finally, an investigation is ongoing into the murder of minor Hillel Mordechai Dadon in Beit Shemesh.

Authorities suspect the 26-year-old attacker, Lyle Ifargan, approached the home hours before the incident, spoke with the homeowner and later returned to stab the children.

And he's one of three soldiers that, uh, went missing.

Uh, we knew that they are cas- casualties of a battle called Su- Sultani Ya’qoub from the Lebanon War, the first Lebanon War.

All three of them, we managed to retrieve their bodies and bring them home.

One was returned in 2019, the other one is 2025, and Yehuda Katz is the one that we just brought his remains back for burial couple, uh, I mean, yesterday.

Human remains found near Nancy Guthrie's Arizona home are not related to the investigation into her disappearance, according to the sheriff's department.
