Baby, you can drive my car.
Tony MendozaHOST

And we talked about this in last week's episode, but my notes are, are these the same mixes as Red Album 2023? This is before, you know, all the digging I did.
Tony MendozaHOST
4:40
I read all 900 pages of the Steve Hoffman form.
Tony MendozaHOST
4:43
Quite the sniffer.
Tony MendozaHOST
5:04
I don't know.
Tony MendozaHOST
5:05
I dig this mix, even though, yeah, I think these are pretty much the 2023 mixes used for the majority of this record.
Tony MendozaHOST
5:13
At least the stuff that was on the Red album.
TJ ShanoffHOST
5:15
It's sure what it sounds like.
TJ ShanoffHOST
25:10
The new mix is great, and before we really get into things, you addressed something I think we need to address first and foremost.
TJ ShanoffHOST
25:19
The 2023 and 2026 mixes, from what I understand in the limited research I have done, is every song that is included on the 2023 remix of the Red Album that is from Rubber Soul that appears on this iteration of Rubber Soul, even if it says 2026 remix, it is the exact same remix as the masters used in 2023.
TJ ShanoffHOST
25:47
[buzzer] The only true, quote-unquote, 2026 remixes are the songs left off the Red Album, and it's amazing to think that r- [laughs] the expanded Red Album left songs off.
TJ ShanoffHOST
25:58
Apparently it did.
Tony MendozaHOST
25:59
[laughs]
TJ ShanoffHOST
26:00
How come Come Give Me Thine Hand ain't on the Red Album remix? What about Germany?
Tony MendozaHOST
26:05
[laughs]
TJ ShanoffHOST
26:07
How come Hogan's Heroes ain't on Channel 9 no more? [laughs] But, uh, we-

Could be
Walter EverettGUEST
81:24
... may have been Ringo's part, but I've got the, um, 2023 mix of the Red Album here.
Walter EverettGUEST
81:32
Let me pull from that, the final right channel.
Walter EverettGUEST
81:36
And I think, again, here you can hear very strong snare backbeat without a hi-hat wash that you can hear bleeding onto [laughs] onto the, uh, guitar mics in the basic track.
Darin MurphyGUEST
9:20
I was originally not expecting to like this new remix.
Darin MurphyGUEST
9:25
I, I think because Revolver was the first rollout of the MAL technology, and then the remixes on the Red Album, and I found them such a mixed bag.
Darin MurphyGUEST
9:34
To this day, I'll go back and I'll listen to them h- hoping that they will sound better to me, [laughs] and they still don't.
Darin MurphyGUEST
9:41
And so I'm like, ugh.
Darin MurphyGUEST
10:38
So that's beautiful.
Ed ChenHOST
10:39
I think the mixes sound better in context.
Ed ChenHOST
10:43
On the Red Album, it's a little bit bitty, even though it's more or less the same mix.
Ed ChenHOST
10:49
And we have confirmed that they are basically the same mixes.
Allan KozinnHOST
66:56
Yeah.
Darren DeVivoHOST
66:57
And the seven-inch single, which used the 2023 mixes for the, uh, redo of the, uh, Red Album, uh, those are tacked on to the end of disc two.
Darren DeVivoHOST
67:07
So once you're finished with all of the sessions and demos, it's a little jarring because you suddenly go to a finished mix, which does not fit with all of the sessions and demos and alternate takes.
Darren DeVivoHOST
67:21
Tacked onto the end of side two you get that seven-inch single.
Michael MontgomeryHOST
18:50
So My escape was the Beatles.
Michael MontgomeryHOST
18:54
I found the Red Album and the Blue Album in a jumble sale.
Michael MontgomeryHOST
18:59
What do you call that in America?
Brandon KeoganHOST
19:01
Like a yard sale? A
