14th Street Bridge

okay sorry i overshot a little bit well 38 is a ridiculous number

Well, when I'm driving to and from my airport, right, and when I'm crossing the bridge, the 14th Street Bridge, I'm looking at all these cranes.

It's like, okay, these are all less than five miles away, and there is an associated NOTAM with these, which is kind of cool.

And someone calls me every frigging morning.

The second gauntlet is what they call Beat the Bridge Gauntlet.

All participants must reach the intersection of 14th and D Streets before 14th Street Bridge by 1:15 PM at mile 20.

And then the final one is the Crystal City Gauntlet.

So participants m- who do not make it through the Crystal City Gauntlet by 1:49 will be diverted from the certified course at 12th s- 12th and South Street as it becomes Crystal Drive, and may continue running but will not complete the 26.2 mile course.

It is insane.

And to make that crossover from Virginia to D.C. on that 14th Street Bridge, that could be 45 minutes just there alone.

Yeah, because everybody's in the wrong lane, too.

And nobody really lives in D.C.
