100 Cowboys

Well, I think this is a really perfect example of how, like, you never know what's gonna catch for whatever reason.

And you wrote 100 Cowboys after a breakup.

Yeah.

I'm always so curious about this, particularly when it comes to musicians.

But writing s- like, essentially poetry about it is, like, kind of the ideal way to process something bad happening.

Mm-hmm.

And yeah, I, I, 100 Cowboys was about a breakup, and it was the perfect way to kinda get over it.

And every once in a while I'll, like, listen back to it and remember the feelings I was having during it, and it feels good to know, like, oh, I'm not, I'm not there anymore, and I still have this, like, emotional snapshot of where I was as almost, like, a, a, a diary entry.
