Are we together now? "Thou hast created all things," he says, "and for thy pleasure they were and are created." One more scripture.

Are we learning already? First Chronicles 29 from verse 10 to 11.

I find this scripture so comforting.

First Chronicles 29 verse 11.

I will point to one.

And it says here, 1 Chronicles 29, 10-13, David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, Praise be to you, Lord, the God of our Israel, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor for everything in heaven.

and earth is yours yours lord is the kingdom you're exalted as head over all wealth and honor come from you you're the ruler of all things in your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all now our god we give you thanks and praise your glorious name so this is one way that david one of the prayers of david praising god now here's the thing if you go to psalms oh my goodness you're gonna find praises all over well we're gonna get to that a little bit later but I want to just point this part out right here where C.S. Davis talks about that adoration was one of the hardest things for me to do he says because it didn't make sense because why would the God of the universe want me to tell him or need me to tell him how great he is right but then he says this example in there where he was in the in a room watching a football game and the the the the people were cheering on for the home team and they were cheering and cheering and cheering.

I'm sure that you agree that God's Word is amazing.

And so you're back? And this is day number 252? Today we read 1 Chronicles 29, our second reading in Proverbs 22, and Matthew 3.

So, let's turn to 1 Chronicles 29.

Yesterday we heard of the military commanders and officials under David and the leaders of 13 tribes.

Then we heard David's instructions to Solomon, and it is always amazing to me the detail with which David planned for the temple, and also his generosity.

1 Chronicles 29 Heading Gifts for Building the Temple King David announced to the whole assembly, My son Solomon is the one whom God has chosen, but he is still young and lacks experience.

The work to be done is tremendous, because this is not a palace for people, but a temple for the Lord God.

And this is where I felt the Lord put me at.

And so 1 Chronicles 29 verse 5, I'm just going to read one verse here and then another verse.

And then I'll let y'all sit down and I'll read the whole text because it's a lot.

But all across North America here today, there's been many churches that have pushed MTM and pushed to raise an offering for the Lord.
