And a big milestone for a local tribe.

The Yuhaviatam of San Manuel Nation is celebrating 40 years of gaming.

The San Bernardino County tribe is behind the powerhouse casino Yamava, which actually started out as a controversial bingo hall.

Reporter Cato Hernandez joins us now with the history.

How did this all

begin? So the backdrop of the Yuhaviatam matters here because the casino, of course, is on a reservation.

So the tribe has been around for thousands of years.
