Wycliffe Bible Translators

So I'm Robin Peake.

I'm Deputy CEO at Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Been in the charity sector for, I guess, about 14, 15 years.

My background has been fundraising.

No, that's good.

And what's one thing that people always assume about your job that just, yeah, just isn't true?

Yes, because I'm a deputy CEO at Wycliffe Bible Translators, when I meet people, they assume that I can speak lots of languages or maybe even more than one language.

And I can't, I can just speak English.

And as I grew up, got more and more familiar with Jesus and just fell in love with him, really fell in love with his word.

And I guess my story with Wycliffe Bible Translators starts as being a student and someone came and they let me know that there were lots and lots of people who still didn't have the Bible in their own language.

And that really surprised me because I had the Bible in my language.

There are lots of Bibles in my language and lots of different versions.

So I first got involved as a donor.

I then got involved as a volunteer.

And then six years ago, I joined the staff here at Wycliffe Bible Translators.

And today I'm the deputy CEO.
