I'm your host, Asia Tabb.

To start our show, WITF's democracy reporter, Jordan Wilkie, leads a discussion with Pennsylvania's leading government reporters about what Governor Josh Shapiro and Treasurer Stacy Garrity revealed in last night's governor's debate.

He's speaking with Haley O'Brien with WITF, Kate Huangpu with Spotlight PA, and Gillian McGoldrick with the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Thank you all for joining us today to unpack the politics and the facts from last night's debate.

We're gonna start by setting the stage on which this political theater was played out.

So, uh, it-it's, uh, unlikely that that's gonna break through in some way.

You're listening to a special segment of The Spark.

I'm Jordan Wilkie, democracy reporter for WITF News, and we'll be right back with more analysis of last night's gubernatorial debate.
