Residents are being invited to help shape the future of Barrow Town Centre, as work continues on the ambitious Heart of Barrow regeneration programme.

Last month, an initial £22.9 million investment for the programme was announced, with the funding intended to help bring forward the first stages of the town centre's regeneration.

A free drop-in event hosted by Team Barrow and delivered by Westmoreland and Furness Council will give residents, businesses and visitors a chance to explore a series of interactive stalls, meet some of the people involved in delivering the project and help shape what will happen next.

The event will take place at Barrow Town Hall on Friday, October 2nd from 11am to 7pm, before the moving to The Bridge on Portland Walk on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 3pm.
