Well, it feels good to maybe shout out, um, our sponsors because, you know, as a volunteer-ran organization, like, without that, that support, uh, it would be hard to put together the event and put together a lot of the exciting elements of the event too that, that we're bringing in.

It's interesting.

They all have playing experience.

So we really aren't concerned who's taking that first snap on September 5th against Wabash College.

You know, we feel really comfortable with whoever we put in the game.

And like I said, like at the end of the year, I would be shocked if we didn't have the first team all-conference quarterback with how talented all three of those guys are.

So Getting to do what I do with the sport that I love so much, I mean, it's great.

And the fact that I get to do it in my hometown, I went to Westfield High School, went to Wabash College.

I've been here for 40-plus years.

It's just been an amazing experience.

Yeah.

I went to a small college in Indiana called Wabash College.

That's my biggest beef to pick with Connor is that they've removed their Wabash merch, probably because no one buys it.

The school is so incredibly small.

But I still have my Wabash Always Fights shirt that I bought from Home Field like a decade ago because they were the first brand that had Wabash in it.

And you mentioned it on the podcast, but they are classic.

I'm obsessed.

all right without further ado everybody this is season three episode 37 and beyond the shadows podcast tonight we are discussing the crawfordsville monster the thing that came from the sky this is act one everybody act one something over crawfordsville So in September of 1891, Crawfordsville, Indiana was not the kind of place anyone would expect to become the setting for one of America's strangest early UFO or cryptid stories.

It was a growing Midwestern town about 50 miles northwest of Indianapolis, home to several thousands of people in Wabash College.

Electricity was still relatively new to the town, automobiles were virtually non-existent, and powered human flight was still more than a decade away.

So when people looked into the night sky and saw something moving overhead, they weren't familiar with many objects available to explain it away.
