And even though Superior is still cold, it's used to being colder, and there may lie in part of the mystery.

And you recently gathered scientists and experts to talk about these issues at the UW-Superior campus.

What were some big takeaways for you among this group of scientists? What did you learn?

So the key thing that the scientists need is, and that we've pushed really hard in this white paper, is an array of real-time algal bloom buoys that can detect these blooms immediately when they happen, tell us if they're toxic or not, and then the scientists can use that information to kind of crack the code on this mystery that I was talking about.

Lake Erie has been dealing with much, much worse algal blooms for decades.

They have this real-time buoy monitoring system.

And the scientists that we had collected in the room for our water summit and also on the panel that we held at UW-Superior this week have really been pushing for investment in this similar buoy network that Lake Erie has.

Because right now, the scientists and researchers are running out in boats and trying to capture these samples by hand.

He built model airplanes with a level of focus that seemed almost disproportionate for a farm kid in Wisconsin.

He started taking flying lessons when he was in college at Superior State Teachers College, now the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

He soloed.

He was hooked when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in December of 1941.

Again, like you said, with the Achilles, not a professional athlete.

I didn't get the professional athlete training or help at University of Wisconsin-Superior, which is a four-year college, not a super big one, but played soccer there.

And I missed, I want to say minimum two months.

Now, I don't know how, it wasn't a quote trim.

And we kind of reflected on our one academic institutions where like the height, like the height of threat is right.

Like I, you I interviewed once at UW-Superior and I sat with the provost and he told me a professor had left the university because he didn't hit 10 million in five years.
