Yeah, I'm Oyeshola Olutokombo as said, a professor of rural sociology and a social safety specialist.

I finished from this department 40 years ago.

Yeah.

Well, I can say it's God that drew me.

Through my parent's friend, who happens to be the registrar of the University of Ibadan, then the registrar.

Actually, I applied to study pharmacy.

And gradually from there, they will move to tertiary institutions.

Before you know, they will concession the University of Ibadan.

They will concession the University of Ife.

They will concession the University of Bini.

Then interest and then relevance.

Now, my Momsie went to University of Ibadan a long time ago, and even then, there was one of her classmates, the guy who graduated first class, who tried to get her to, you know, smoke small Igbo.

But my mom, being a good Christian girl, she say, "Eh, if it is cigar, I understand.

But this one, no.

Because those seats will work, okay? They all sit in the wrong seat.

That teacher was a professor in the University of Ibadan.

I've been to Ibadan like three or four times.

Okay.

And she came back.

By the time she got back, I'd finished my A-levels, I'd gotten admission to the University of Ibadan.

And I was getting ready and I had a full scholarship.

I was excited and I was happy.

And she said, no, you're not going to the University of Ibadan.

I just came back from where God was, the United States of America.

Such a beautiful country.
