Tri-City Americans

I, like I said, I didn't notice Jarvis too much in this game.

I noticed him a lot in the first game down in Tri-Cities, but I didn't notice him a ton in the home opener.

Uh, I do agree about Kulmar, though.

I think Kulmar had a really good game, and it's only a matter of time before those two guys get their first WHL goals.

Spokane, Seattle, Portland all in the playoffs, but in the 6, 7, and 8 seeds of the playoffs.

And then, of course, you had Tri-City and Wenatchee on the outside looking in.

So, you know, tough to say who's going to come out of this, but I'm sure you've got a better take on it than me.

But Everett, as you mentioned, might be time.

The Everett Silver Tips are always going to be competitive.

The Portland Winterhawks, they're going to be in the conversation as well.

Tri-City will be intriguing.

I don't know if they're ready to be back into the top-tier conversation on things.

What's that blue jersey over your, uh, over your left shoulder?

Like, like, they've had a few iterations of the jersey.

Okay.

And by the time I got traded to Red Deer as, as a 19-year-old, I was ready.

Like, I went to Red Deer.

Tri-Cities, we never had a game on TV other than Northwest USA Channel.

Brandon Gorzinski is going back to Prince Albert.

And Niaka Vanacek is going back to the Tri-City Americans as well.

So wanted to make sure we get through some of those transactions.

That way no one is particularly, not that you're going to be surprised, but surprised by... any of the moves.

But, like, why is it, oh, we have a D zone draw.

austin matthews over the boards no no why why why why craig why was that a thing so that's how low the bar is for jim hiller and like honestly the only way that we can really like evaluate how he is as a head coach because he spent a lot of time as an assistant in the nhl but like we can't what are we supposed to do with that information in terms of evaluating kind of what he can do As a head coach, we have to go back to him in the WHL, in which he was coach of the Tri-City Americans, as well as also the Chilliwack Bruins, I believe.

But the Tri-City Americans had the best season out of both those teams.

And that best season for the Tri-City Americans was the 11-12 season.

Go look at the

roster.

I implore, and I'm not just saying that to Ella, I'm also saying that to anyone who's listening.

Go look at the roster for the 2011-2012 Tri-City Americans.

Yeah, personally, I'm going to go a different direction than you.

I got Tri-City Americans finishing in last place.

Just, like, looking at their roster, kind of what you said about Wenatchee, I think about Tri-City and just kind of a lack of, like, you know, maybe a star that could really produce at the level that you kind of want someone to produce at, you know, obviously they, they, for 21s, like they got Grady Martin and, um, that's, that's it for 21 or for 20, sorry.

So like that right there kind of repels me kind of off of them a little bit too like um I think Wenatchee on the other hand has you know made some key acquisitions this offseason to kind of propel them and I think they're gonna finish uh I'll kind of go off my neck I think I got Wenatchee finishing fourth but I definitely think that they could kind of push for a 7-8 spot in the playoffs here so um Yeah, I have Wenatchee finishing fourth.

I really like what they did this offseason, bringing in Caden Longley there from left bridge.

Um, and then they might have the best goalie in the league in my opinion, this year again, who just got drafted by Colorado and the NHL draft, uh, uh, was very high on him last year.

So, yeah, Curtis, you can go with your fourth place team in the division.

Yeah, I had Tri-City coming in fourth.

And then the fact that he's known so many people in his time coaching, uh, junior collegiately.

And then [laughs] as we saw a couple weeks ago, as the, uh, what were you? The acting head coach of the Tri-City Americans.
