We've got Joe DeVito, Abby McAllister, Tobacco City Wild Horses, Bill McKay, Hen House Prowlers featuring Don Sternberg, the Fretliners, Mason Jennings, Ila Bamba, and Jim Lee, the Broody Brothers, Imdal Moktar, Valerie June, Sierra Hull.

and Trampled by Turtles is the Saturday headline.

That's one day, kids, one day, right there.

And initially we had like sort of full band kind of stuff where there was a lot heavier, but when we got in the room with us, it just, me just playing the acoustic guitar and then having a little nuances felt the strongest.

An album that I've been listening to heaps was Alan Sparhawk with Trampled by Turtles.

And it is so intense and sparse.

And that was really the inspiration for the tone of this.

She's had a big couple years.

She won the 2025 Palomino Grant from the Duluth band Trampled by Turtles.

She's released an EP.

She was picked as one of First Avenue's Best New Bands of 2025, and she recently headlined at the 7th Street Entry.

And you've probably been interested in music for a long time, but you have had, it seems like a really fast rise over the past couple of years have been really formative for you.

I mentioned you won that Palomino grant from Trampled by Turtles last year, 2025.

What did it mean to you as someone who grew up listening to that band?

It means so much to me that I have such a hard time describing the gratitude, but I feel it in my bones, like I physically ache with gratitude if I think about it.

They do.

But, um, I've w- my wife and I, uh, are fans of the band Trampled by Turtles, and we always thought that would be a good name for their, their groupies is, like-

... is they're the Turtleheads.

[laughs]

... kind of a fan of the name too.
