Toy Biz

He had...

WCW, Toy Biz.

Toy Biz 1, I think, only, right? 1?

It was right around the Vampiro line.

Yeah.

For a long time, there was virtually no Batman merch, because I think it just took Warner Brothers by a complete surprise.

Toy Biz had the license at the time, and they only did three figures.

They did Batman with the... grappling hook belt, they did Bob the Goon, which is a weird one, and they did Joker with a squirty flower, and they did the Batmobile, they did the Batwing, they did the Batcave, and then it was the following year, I think, yeah, 1990, Kenner get the license back, and then they are like, we've done Batman before, we know what we're doing, and then they do a load of stuff.

So yeah, that tracks.

Wow.

And my name is Raging Christian McGann, a.k.a. the Toy Biz Disciple, a.k.a. the 200, and as of today's hamburger, 260-pound prodigy.

So how are we doing tonight?

uh you guys can follow along with the show wherever you're hearing the sound of our voices new episodes every single monday we have got a fat episode for you today we are going to address 20 toxic collecting takes that's actually challenging to say out loud we got your modern toy news and then we're going to talk about the last dc multiverse batman wave uh Of course, like I said, you can follow along wherever you're hearing us.

I did find something funny about the toys that we bought last week.

If you haven't listened to last week's episode, we talked about going to our buddy ATX Toy Exchange.

house to shop through his garage and we have a video of that on the Instagram as well so a lot of really cool things but the two things that I got there were the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Black Panther and then the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Mystique and they are yes so they both are a part of the Sentinel Build-A-Figure wave and I wish I would have paid more attention because I looked at the mystique and I was like, oh, I don't really care about the figure very much.

And I was like, I don't really want this, but I need to build a figure part.

But we did get, like, soft goods and stuff.

And up until, like, I think Toy Biz flair.

It was, like, the first flair ever with a robe

for,

This is the worst of all of them.

Because his kicking action feature, it was like Bob the Goon from Toy Biz.

The kicking thing broke, and then he would never stand up.

It's impossible to get one of these to stand up

what's up guys welcome to mighty champions action figure radio this is a show where we talk about action figures toys collectibles and all that sort of thing so if that's what you're into sit back relax because we're about to unbox one or two hours of top shelf front row toy talk my name is stay puffed john sergeant

And my name is Crime Solver Christian McGann, a.k.a. the Toy Biz Disciple, a.k.a. the 250-pound prodigy.

I love it.

I love it.

He took advantage of me.

Yeah.

Right when we walked through the door, he had the Toy Biz Batmobile.

The 89.

And sure enough, you know, had the...

Toy biz, right? Yeah.

Yeah.

I just, I'm like, how did they, like, how did they do this shot? How the hell did they pull this off? Like, how, like, you

So we're looking at...

So this has got to be Toy Biz.

Yeah, it's Toy Biz.

Capcom Dark Stalkers 3.

I didn't even know there was a toy line.

Huh? It could be.

It could be.

Toy Biz loves to reuse.

Yeah, no, they're great.

But I had almost all of the old Toy Biz Marvel figures.

I was probably like 85% of that, 80%.

And I sold them all at some point.
