Two, Tokamak Energy completes 13.7 tesla fusion magnets test.

Three, Helical selected for Japanese fusion demonstration project.

And four, Tennessee issues license for fusion plant.

Now, the more conservative view also gets an airing in this article with David Helgeson from Transition Ventures pointing out that whatever fusion does, whatever price point it has, it will be competing with very cheap electricity sources such as solar.

And I think the most interesting line comes from Alex Creely, chief engineer of FIA member Commonwealth Fusion Systems, on what the first fusion plant will really deliver.

Our second story today comes from the engineer, and it's a big one for FIA member Tokamak Energy, who have just wrapped up on a 14-month test campaign on Demo4.

I really appreciate being on.

Um, so Michael Ginsberg, I'm president of the North American arm of Tokamak Energy.

Been with the company just under three years, and my background is in energy, all sorts of energy.

So started out developing solar, then moved to batteries and microgrids, um, then hydrogen, clean hydrogen electrolysis, and now into fusion, uh, and superconductivity.

So that's sort of the high level and the lofty ambition.

Uh, fusion energy represents that, um, that holy grail of energy, and it's for that reason that fusion attracted me.

And when I was looking around at different, uh, uh, companies, Tokamak Energy really piqued my interest because of its credibility and its, its history, um, not only talking about what, what fusion energy could be, but actually operating real world research devices, uh, which it still operates today.

So just really blown away by the, by the people and by the expertise, um, and wanting to be a part of a, an important mission.
