Alexis ReddingGUEST
40:15
And then finally, I have a new app that I think is an amazing, amazing tool.
Alexis ReddingGUEST
40:22
It's called Time Shifter.
Alexis ReddingGUEST
40:24
And the Time Shifter app helps you get acclimated to traveling across time zones.
Alexis ReddingGUEST
40:32
And so you tell it when your flights are, how long you're going to be someplace, and it helps you prepare days in advance with when to have caffeine, if you like to have caffeine, when to stop.
Alexis ReddingGUEST
40:42
when to get fresh sunlight in your eyes, and when to put on some sunglasses so that your body rhythms can start to calibrate before you get there.
Emily AbbateHOST
28:20
Uh, and I got in my pajamas and we went to the second flight.
Emily AbbateHOST
28:25
And so I have looked at the Time Shifter app, like everyone's talking about the Time Shifter app.
Emily AbbateHOST
28:30
I looked at it and it didn't want me to go to bed for like five hours of the flight, like right when I got on, and then it was like, "Shut it down for hours like 6 to 14." I was like, "There's no way that's gonna work for me." So I got on my second flight and immediately, like within 20 minutes I was like, "I need to crash." It was at 11:00 PM LA time, which is 2:00 AM New York time, and considering I typically go to bed at like 8:30, 9:00 New York time, I was exhausted.
Emily AbbateHOST
29:00
So I got on the plane.
TaylorHOST
8:14
... an itinerary like that?
AlexHOST
8:15
Is it Time Shifter or Time Shift or something?
TaylorHOST
8:19
Oh, so you've heard of something like this.
TaylorHOST
8:21
This was blowing my mind-
TaylorHOST
10:30
... like maybe it would be worth doing it once, and you get a good idea of what you might need to do when and try it yourself.
TaylorHOST
10:38
I don't know.
AlexHOST
10:38
If it is the Time Shifter app-
TaylorHOST
10:40
It's intriguing
Allison ColeHOST
25:38
But I really don't want to not speak about the Claro app.
Allison ColeHOST
25:42
And it's so funny, because I've talked about another app on this show so many times called the Time Shifter app, and it was, like, $25 for the year, so I signed up for it.
Olivia WalchGUEST
25:52
Mm-hmm.
Allison ColeHOST
25:52
And I use it whenever I travel to kind of figure things out.
Allison ColeHOST
28:41
Seriously, I've been able to check it out.
Allison ColeHOST
28:43
She gave me a peek into what this app is, and this is in my list of top apps that really are trying to make changes actionable for you.
Allison ColeHOST
28:57
And I am 100%... 'Cause I have the membership to Time Shifter.
Allison ColeHOST
29:01
I'm plotting a trip to Korea, and I am 100% gonna use your app to see...
Michael BreusGUEST
54:19
The only thing that I have personally found is there's an app that I use.
Michael BreusGUEST
54:24
It's called Time Shifter, T-I-M-E-S-H-I-F-T-E-R, timeshifter.com. Full disclosure, I'm an investor because I liked it so much, I contacted them, and I bought into the company.
Michael BreusGUEST
54:38
This uses napping, caffeine, light, and melatonin in a particular order, and you will land on time.
Michael BreusGUEST
54:48
So as an example, if you're coming from Cape Town and you wanted to come to Paris, which would be about an eight and a half hour time difference, a long flight, eight and a half hour time difference, you could use this two days before you left and you would land on Parisian time.
