The Exodus Road

And I'm so excited that you guys have decided to join us on this journey for another great conversation today with an organization that I'm incredibly fond of.

I happen to be the current chair of the board of this organization at the time of this recording anyway, The Exodus Road, an organization that is fighting human trafficking all over the globe, very specifically in five different countries where we have offices, but we're headquartered here in these United States.

Ryan, what did you think of this conversation with Matt and Laura?

Yeah, Matt and Laura, so awesome.

And he actually got deputized by the Thai police, which like, I don't know how many people get to put that on their resume, but that's awesome.

Um, and I, I thought it was good to know, like, um, you know, we were talking and especially in the United States, like people that might not know how big of a problem human trafficking is.

Um, it certainly is an issue in the United States and maybe even a bigger issue worldwide, but I thought it'd be cool to note some of the numbers statistics for Exodus road and just how impressive the work that they've done has been.

Um, 6,366 survivors that they've helped escape and find freedom.

Alrighty, so thanks everyone for tuning into this episode of Find Your Cause.

Today we have Laura Parker, who's the CEO and co-founder of The Exodus Road.

Laura, thank you so much for your time on this wonderful Thursday.

I am so excited to be here, Joseph.

Yes.

Per usual, we like to get started with the mission of the organizations that we interview.

So what is the mission of The Exodus Road?

We find and free those trapped in human trafficking, and we believe in a world where no human is bought, sold, or exploited.
