The Cryptic Corporation

You've got a really busy period coming up in that you're taking Eskimo on the stage with the Residents.

You're the lead for the Cryptic Corporation, and you're a spokesperson for the Residents.

Is that correct?

I primarily, uh, see myself as the Residents' art director.

Yeah, I mean, this was always their feeling was that the whole world of sound was wide open to them, and they were Probably not the first, but one of the first ones to take samples from other people's music and then, and build off of that.

And once again, they felt like the world of sound was wide open.

The Cryptic Corporation was set up around that period.

Was that to provide extra support for the Residents?
