Hello, and welcome back to In Good Hands, a British Association of Hand Therapists podcast.

My name is Conor Moran, and on episode three, I'm delighted to be joined by Fiona Powell.

Fi is an accredited hand therapist with more than 25 years of experience and currently works as part of a specialist brachial plexus team in Bristol.

And I know today's episode, we're going to be talking all about this year's BART conference, which is in Bristol, which is where you're from.

But before we go into that, should we just have a quick chat about what the conference is in general? So what is the annual BART conference all about?

Yeah, so the British Association of Hand Therapists conference runs every year in the autumn and it runs over two days, usually a Friday and a Saturday.

It's a really jam-packed programme.

It's made up of several sort of And what we try and do is connect a surgeon on a particular topic with a couple of experienced hand therapists.
