Sublime Frequencies

And that's brand new on the AD93 label from Holy Tongue.

A new Sublime Frequencies release of gong music from the Brau region of Cambodia called Brau Gongs of Rata Nakiri.

Live recordings from Laurent Genoux, who's done a series of great new Sublime Frequencies releases.

These are all raw and very unfiltered gong ensemble music recordings during rituals, buffalo sacrifices, and for drinking fermented alcohol.

And relatively recent recordings from a very volatile and remote and shifting region that's been under takeover from the Khmer Rouge and then later Vietnamese occupation and grasping onto tradition and happy to have this record new.

Well, now we're speaking about old labels or older, but yeah.

Sublime Frequencies.

Oh yeah.

That's the only time in here when I've been doing morning shows.

I bought this Sublime Frequencies record that I played and the guys who run the radio, Aits and they were upstairs.

Well, Aits wasn't, but Robert was.

What's going on in there? What's going on downstairs? played this African record which was just crazy.
