Got a big one tomorrow night between the St. John's.

St. John's Prep hits the road to take on St. John Shrewsbury, who has been a pleasant surprise.

Second-year coach Gary Senecal there has done a terrific, terrific job with the Pioneers getting that program back on track.

We'll see.

And it was like the Danvers Public School, which is great.

But then there was like this prep school that was called St. John's Prep, which is where I ended up going.

a ridiculous theater program, by the way.

So maybe like work to be like, bring them over and have them see a show, whatever.

So this athlete is coming back from a left ACL tear, and this was kind of like our final testing day that we did last week before we're kinda getting into this winter, you know, fall/winter prep for the spring.

So just so that if any of my listeners, 'cause I like to blast this out to my email group, this is an athlete who plays lacrosse at St. John's Prep.

He's a senior.

For you guys over there in the UK, St. John's Prep is a very prestigious high school in the Boston area that is state champion in multiple sports all, year af- year after year.

It's an all boys school.

They win hockey state championships.

We gotta..." He would work behind the scenes writing emails to, to whoever to get to these people to do it, and, um, and that's how it exploded.

The, the St. John's Prep community, the Boston College community, Massachusetts, it just absolutely blew up, and then it's like the old, you know, we're really gonna date each other, but that old Faberge Organics commercial back from the '70s, and so on, and so on-

Right

... and so on.

You know, I wouldn't say that I grew up in a particularly political household, but I did come of age right after 9-11 and the Iraq war in that time period really kind of catalyzed my interest in politics and really seeing the impact of what elected officials and the policies that they implement can do to the real lives of people every day.

And I was lucky enough to go to a high school, St. John's Prep in Danvers, Massachusetts, that had teachers that were not afraid to get into those political issues instead of their normal lesson plan day to day.

Political beliefs and my interest in politics, one example I like to call out is that my senior year of high school for history, our textbook was A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn.
