South Pacific Pictures

This is Andrew Schusterman.

He's currently the managing director of South Pacific Pictures, makers of Shortland Street, Broken Wood and Outrageous Fortune, but also The Traders NZ and now the Australian version, as well as other reality shows like Travel Guides and Sort Your Life Out.

He's also a member of RNZ's board, although he certainly wasn't wearing that hat for our conversation.

And I'm sorry to say, Andrew, we will be digging back into that old reality TV archive in the near future.

And would they film that like in a block that say, right, we're going to block out X weeks of time for filming and so on? Nice

film jobs that I did, if it was a series that was off in six months, I did a really good series called Deepwater Haven, which is a co-production between South Pacific Pictures, a New Zealand company, and a French production company.

about a family that ran a tugboat on Auckland Harbour.

And that was a six-month shoot for a series.
