over the tour, over the endorsements revenue.

You come to realize that Cordae's side was not going for it, but I think the Achilles heel of Cordae completely disregarding MG was signing to, or distributing through another company company that was not under a major label because if your main complaint is literally saying that stem is not a qualified distributor because they're not under the three major music groups as far as universal as far as sony as far as warner if that's your main complaint right then you distributing through Empire, not Empire, you distributing through Mass Appeal, which objectively is not under a major label, makes that whole Stem isn't a qualified distributor and makes the argument very lackluster.
ShepherdHOST

But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
ShepherdHOST
18:13
Like, what's going on?
Analytic DreamzHOST
3:55
damn so she was the lead vocalist of uruguayan uruguayan come come be a pop group from rome by from 2016 to 2018 and then of course she launched her solo career in 2019 and signed to sony latin music
ShepherdHOST
4:13
I know that ain't who I think it is.
Analytic DreamzHOST
4:14
Now, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't know, Sony currently has 22% of the entire music market share.

So as far as Amelia signing to them in 2019, not only is that a magnificent accomplishment, but of course she came out with her debut albums, to crease and and me in 2022 and it went sort of it was certified platinum by capif whatever that is c-a-p-i-f now of course i'm used to r-i-double-a i'm used to the billboard charts capif is a you know it's a newer thing i've seen i've been covering you know the gaming industry the music industry as well for quite some time so anyways with that being said she was nominated for her 2023 album uh the mp3 file extension i was explaining earlier she literally titled her second album that and she earned a nomination for best pop vocal album the first nomination in that category for an argentine woman And of course, when you look at her hits as far as N, La Intimidad, when you look at her other hits such as Los del Espacio, when you look at La Original, you come with Tina or Tini.

You come to realize that she has multiple tracks that she is notoriously affecting the masses with.

Simple question this week.
Scott TailfordHOST
38:31
What are your thoughts on the large influx of players jailbreaking their PlayStation 5s and pirating games as a form of protest to Sony? My thoughts are, even though it's not illegal to jailbreak your system, I'm not for stealing money away from the developers.
Scott TailfordHOST
38:43
Yeah, I mean, jailbreaking stuff isn't anything new as a practice.
Scott TailfordHOST
38:47
And I knew a ton of people growing up that jailbroke their PlayStation 1s.
Scott TailfordHOST
40:16
Like you said, it takes money away from the developers.
Scott TailfordHOST
40:19
It takes money away from the people that would facilitate the escapism in the first place.
Scott TailfordHOST
40:23
But I think in terms of the reasons why, some of it is definitely because of the hard stance that Sony's taken with everything being all digital and the terrible way they've communicated that stuff where it's just, hey, deal with it.
Scott TailfordHOST
40:34
And a lot of people have gone, well, if everything is all digital and you guys don't respect us, then we're just going to F you.
JonahHOST
14:51
Yeah.
JonahHOST
14:53
And so I think, especially with the stable of characters that Sony has or had access to, they could do so much better.
JoshHOST
15:01
Sure.

And

Right.
BillHOST
44:16
Yeah.
BillHOST
44:17
We'll see what Sony ends up doing.
BillHOST
44:19
I think they're going to end up walking this whole thing back.
RobHOST
5:00
Sometimes those things get jumbled up, but I was right.
RobHOST
5:02
I had remembered this correctly, but this is the first animated film to be made using Sony's animation rendering software, which I had remembered because it's been used a lot since then.
RobHOST
5:16
Um, the, that tied together, I think is the name of the game uses it.
RobHOST
5:20
A lot of those like two player games that Sony used.
Jason MichaelHOST
5:24
It takes two kind of deal split fiction.
Jason MichaelHOST

Okay.

NateHOST

Of course, there are still load order complications and whatnot, but aside from that, they seem to be relatively on the same level, making me quite excited for whatever Skyrim Special Edition brings Xbox One players.
NateHOST
4:32
Of course, if you are on a Sony platform, again, stay strong.
NateHOST
4:35
You remain within our hearts and minds.
NateHOST
4:37
Thanks for watching, everybody.
Edward JonesHOST
42:56
They just stand out as caricatures rather than actual characters.
Edward JonesHOST
43:03
but no I think that they really took the right approach with Until Dawn I thought it was great to take the mechanics and twist things up and yeah I thought it was a really satisfying experience and it gives me hope back in Sony being able to adapt films from their games again
Kim LoweHOST
43:24
You know what I do like about it is that, I don't know if you remember the Until Dawn poster, but the Until Dawn poster is an hourglass.
Kim LoweHOST
43:33
And then it has that like sand going down and it's like the snow going onto the cabin, right? And I always thought it was because, oh, you know, they were in this world where it was like, oh, you had to try to survive until dawn and blah, blah, blah.
Bob RehakGUEST
2:00
I think it's a really interesting shift and I've noticed it too.
Bob RehakGUEST
2:03
Although for me, it didn't really... hop onto the horizon until Sony's recent announcement that it was phasing out physical game media.
Bob RehakGUEST
2:11
One of the things I study and teach is video games and it's usually a pretty popular area of our curriculum at Swarthmore.
Bob RehakGUEST
2:17
So all of the students in the current video game class have gotten very focused on this question of Are we going to be able to own our games going forward? Or are games like movies, like television, like anything that's now moving to these streaming and subscription-based models only yours for as long as the company decides it's yours? And I think there's a real sense of resistance to that.
Phil StiegHOST

Basically, what you've developed is simply a headband with a power source on the backside of your head and a pair of these lenses that can flip up and flip down as you need, and it allows me as the surgeon to see things in a three-dimensional fashion.
Jamie LockwoodGUEST
2:50
Yeah, so think about it for the user if you've got a high-end Sony 3D monitor in your home theater.
Jamie LockwoodGUEST
2:58
putting that on your head.
Jamie LockwoodGUEST
3:00
That's what we've done.
CrosslandHOST
48:51
That would be like asking...
CrosslandHOST
48:54
I mean, it would be like asking Sony and Marvel to agree.
CrosslandHOST
48:57
Yeah, right.
CrosslandHOST
48:58
Exactly.
