Because, as you know, they're trying to rewrite history.

They're trying to erase history.

They're trying to basically... change the story of America and erase the stories of the people all across this country.

They're trying to defund the Smithsonian's.

We're concerned they're going to try to dismantle, for example, the African-American Culture and History Museum.

And we know that this week he has ordered Park Service to put up signs outside of Smithsonian's to reinterpret history.

Legacy of Land Coming to Putnam.

The Smithsonian traveling exhibit Legacy of Land, which explores the enduring impacts of treaties between tribal nations in the United States, will be on display for four months at the Putnam Museum and Science Center.

The exhibit includes historical documents, photographs, and personal narratives developed by the National Museum of the American Indian and the Smithsonian's Museum on Main Street.

Putnam staff worked closely with multiple historians on Native history, cultural advocates, educators, and representatives from tribal nations to ensure the stories were presented with care and historical accuracy, according to an announcement.

The Cindy Deal Yang, president and CEO of the Putnam, said, this exhibition presents the kind of work the Putnam Museum strives to do every day, bringing people together through education, dialogue, and meaningful community partnerships.

Yeah, I mean, it did travel around a bit.

And after it was no longer needed, it was sent off to the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Pavilion in Virginia.

And it was there for decades on display at the museum.

People could go see it.

The exhibit has been housed in the second-floor gallery space in the William Woodward Mississippi River Centre.

The event will feature drinks, light refreshments, and exclusive access.
