Shutterfly also opened a new Disney Shopping Hub with park-inspired collections sold only on the Shutterfly site.
Hannah AndersonPANELIST
17:13
The same automatic syncing is scheduled to reach Disney Cruise Line and Aulani in early 2027.
Hannah AndersonPANELIST
17:20
It also works with photos from previous vacations, so families who have been to the parks before can use their older pictures as well.
Hannah AndersonPANELIST
17:28
There are a couple of details to know.
Hannah AndersonPANELIST
17:30
First, this is opt-in, so you need both a My Disney account and a Shutterfly account.
JeanHOST

It floats on water.
JeanHOST
3:42
We had a zipper up vis-a-vis zipper down, and that was Shutterfly.
JeanHOST
3:50
And right next to it, we had 67 across, weight room vis-a-vis the cardio room, and that was buffer zone.
JeanHOST
4:01
Buffer zone.
MikeHOST
5:46
That was gives off, effuses.
JeanHOST
5:50
Well, that took a while, yeah.
MikeHOST
5:52
Because I certainly didn't know Shutterfly.
MikeHOST
5:55
And I was trying to decide if it was effuses or infuses.
Lindsay CavanaghHOST
8:29
I sent out our first ever holiday card.
Lindsay CavanaghHOST
8:32
Now I use the Shutterfly like option where they just do everything.
Lindsay CavanaghHOST
8:37
They address it.
Lindsay CavanaghHOST
8:38
They ship it like you pick out the photo, the card, and then they do everything.
JasonHOST
13:21
let's see also on october 20th which i gotta go to my notes for this one because i wrote it down disney announces a new photopass partnership with shutterfly yeah
JamesHOST
13:41
this is interesting
JasonHOST
13:42
Yeah, so announced October 20th, Disney and Shutterfly have announced a partnership allowing Disneyland Resort guests to connect their Disney PhotoPass galleries directly to Shutterfly.
JasonHOST
13:54
Beginning October 20th, guests can opt to have their PhotoPass photographs automatically appear in their Shutterfly accounts, where they can create personalized photo books, cards, ornaments, and other keepsakes.
JasonHOST
14:06
The agreement also covers Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Alani, with the latter two services receiving similar functionality in early 2027.
JasonHOST
14:16
So it sounds like Walt Disney World and Disneyland right now.
JasonHOST
14:20
Disney Cruise Line and Alani coming in 2027 so
JamesHOST
14:24
is it available like right now like they announced it and it's it
EliseHOST
30:38
Look at this.
EliseHOST
30:39
I got this on Shutterfly during one of their deals and I made the calendar into a notebook.
TonyHOST
30:44
And a coffee mug.
TonyHOST
30:45
And a coffee mug.
JohnnyHOST
13:19
Okay.
EricaHOST
13:19
Shutterfly is now the official photo gift partner for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and Alani.
EricaHOST
13:28
So guests at Walt Disney World and Disneyland can opt to have their PhotoPass photos automatically sync to their Shutterfly accounts, where they can create photo books, personalized gifts, and other keepsakes.
EricaHOST
13:40
So I do love the idea of us being able to actually do something with our photos from PhotoPass, Memory Maker and whatnot, instead of just posting them on social media.
JohnnyHOST
13:51
I mean, if you buy them, they're not watermarked, right? Correct.
JohnnyHOST
13:54
Could you not go to a place that prints out?
EricaHOST
13:59
Yeah, but Shutterfly puts out a lot of good coupons.
JohnnyHOST
14:01
Yeah, I know they do that, but I didn't know if they were licensed or something.
LaneHOST
39:17
But before we get to that, just a few little notes.
LaneHOST
39:21
If you are planning to stay at the Polynesian Resort anytime before kind of maybe February or March of 2027, some refurbishments that have been going on at the Polynesian are now going to be extended to into early 2027 they were supposed to kind of wrap up by the end of 2026 but apparently things have just gotten delayed so now they could push into early 2027 so if you're staying at the Polynesian for the rest of the year going into 2027 just know they're going to be doing some work still on the Poly and Photo Pass at Disney has also announced a partnership with Shutterfly, which will now allow guest opportunities to store their vacation photos that are taken by Photo Pass cast members to Shutterfly accounts.
LaneHOST
40:08
So if you opt in, you'll be able to have your Disney photos sent to your Shutterfly account.
LaneHOST
40:13
So you don't have to like save them onto your phone or anything like that.
LaneHOST
40:17
And they can be stored there for as long as you want them and all those things.
Imogen KnowedHOST
7:28
So y'all were doing it for like artistic expression, not specifically for like commercial purposes, but like, were you like, is it like...
Imogen KnowedHOST
7:38
Where's the word? Not, like, are they, like, up on Shutterfly or whatever the fuck those, like, are they, like, for sale? Yeah, like, did you make them, like, are you selling them or is it just, like, for y'all's enjoyment?
Tony BrettmanGUEST
7:51
Um, so I'm not purposely like, it's not designed that way, but because, so not many people that, um, go to these events are book models.
Tony BrettmanGUEST
8:00
So they don't have the Avenue generally like prebuilt.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:32
So then after I was able to open up a little bit, I started retrospectively recognizing things that were happening right away.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:42
I opened Shutterfly when I was on the way to the mall to pick out the outfit for Colin's celebration of life.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:52
And I'm like, wow, people are doing so much.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:54
I'm going to need to write thank you cards.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:58
And I open up Shutterfly.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
37:59
And for those that are unfamiliar, Shutterfly will usually take a photo of yours and put it into one of their products and show off what you could do with this product.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
38:10
And opens up right there in front of my face, this gorgeous picture of Colin at his 14th birthday.
Kelly CrockerGUEST
38:15
And across the bottom, it says, this is love.
Matt McWilliamsHOST
2:01
There are so many factors.
Matt McWilliamsHOST
2:04
What type of market are you in? What's the actual product? Is it a physical product with low margins? I've worked with companies like Shutterfly and Adidas where the margins are only 20% to 25%.
Matt McWilliamsHOST
2:17
So if we pay, like with Shutterfly, we had a very competitive commission by industry standards.
Matt McWilliamsHOST
2:22
It was 10%, 13% for, I've talked about this before, but like storefronts, nonprofits and stuff, 13%.
Matt McWilliamsHOST
2:31
If I did that in digital course world, I would get laughed at.
