First, they dipped their toe, Affinity did, into the Israeli economic market.

First, they kind of ingratiated themselves by buying a 15% stake in Shlomo Group's car rental and credit card business for $150 million.

That was in 2023, the very next year, they invested into Phoenix Financial.

They bought a 5% stake for $130 million.

In 2025, new investments, and this is last year, while Trump was president, new investments in the Middle East helped Kushner's fund grow by 30% to more than $6 billion.

Among its projects are two large investments in Israel, $110 million in the Shlomo Group and about $300 million in Phoenix Financial.

Again, Kushner used Saudi money as part of a broader goal of opening an investment corridor between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
