They were 1981's Season of Glass.

And this stuff was like out of print and not streaming.

Continuing in its series of Yoko Ono reissues, Secretly Canadian has announced that Ono's seminal 1982 album, It's Alright, will be released on September the 18th in expanded CD and digital versions and on vinyl for the first time in more than 40 years with expanded and enhanced artwork.

The single, Never Say Goodbye, is now streaming everywhere for the first time alongside its 1995 music video directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Yoko Ono, Eric Stoltz, and Tate Donovan.

Okay, so for those of you happy about Season of Glass being reissued, now it's all right.

And, you know, it's been great working with Secretly Canadian.

I wonder how many fans in attendance will know that the label that helped launch Bridgers' career, Dead Oceans, is headquartered just an hour south of Indianapolis in Bloomington, Indiana.

Dead Oceans is part of Secretly Group, the Bloomington-based independent music company that also includes Secretly Canadian and Jag Jaguar.

This year, Secretly is celebrating 30 years of independent music.

The label began in Bloomington in 1996 when Eric Weddle, Jonathan Cargill, and brothers Ben and Chris Swanson founded Secretly Canadian.

What started as a small DIY effort has grown into one of the most respected independent music companies in the world, with artists including Bon Iver, Mitski, Bright Eyes, Krung Ben, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, Japanese Breakfast, and Phoebe Bridgers, among many others.

This week, the company is celebrating its anniversary with three nights of concerts featuring artists from across its history and current roster.

I recently spoke with two of Secretly's four original founders, Eric Weddle and Ben Swanson.

We'll start with my conversation with Eric Weddle.

And it was all like daytime stuff, nighttime stuff.

But anyway, so, you know, I met a lot of people doing that and I think even that far back, I was friends with the people that started Secretly Canadian and Jag Jaguar.

I'm still friendly with them now.

So, you know, just kind of meeting a lot of like-minded people in the industry and meeting bands and just kind of like figuring out how it all works.

That's the famous cancer album.

Tig Notaro released Good One on Secretly Canadian, and almost nobody noticed.
