Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association

And the

funny thing is, I think of novellas as going up to 40,000 because that's what Science Fiction Fantasy Writers of America says.

That makes

sense.

He founded the consulting firm John Maley & Associates 20 years ago, and has worked as a United States patent agent, a hardware engineer on microprocessor design teams, a Unix software engineer, and an inventor.

John holds 17 US patents and is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, and is also a member of Mensa.

So he's a pretty smart guy, and we're very happy to have you on board, mate.

Thanks.

And like, ah, that kid, he did great things.

He talks about the creation of the science fiction writers of America.

He talks a little bit about New Wave.

He was there for a lot.

Yeah, it's using like the ideals and professed principles of like nice liberals to undermine the conditions of those nice liberals' existence, right?

Yeah, and we should say we have some numbers on this, right? Like the Sad Puppies and the Rabid Puppies have people that they nominate for, you know, running actually the Science Fiction Writers of America, and they get crushed, like 95% to 5%.

Th- these people are a tiny minority, but they're trying to marshal this spirit of inclusivity against the broader, uh, fan base.

So if I'm right, the Sad Puppies sort of affair seems like one of these recent turning points over the past couple decades of moments when fandom gets hijacked for or like inverted into right-wing ends.
