Schoolcraft College

I, I- So they're not gonna knight you in Ro- I'll go to...

I'll go to Schoolcraft.

[laughs] What y'all wanna do? [laughs] They not gonna knight you in, in Royal Oak, son.

[laughs] They're not gonna do it.

Like, I was, uh, one of the, the better players around, um, so I knew I could play college soccer.

Um, but at the time, it made sense for me to play junior college at Schoolcraft.

Um, they have a really unique, like, soccer program, which is a very, a good soccer program.

Um, and it was also an opportunity for me to s-stay home, save money.

Um, so that's kinda the route I took.

And then once I went to Schoolcraft and I was, you know, playing with now, you know, my first game I started in college, I think, like, there was two people on the field that spoke English.

So it was, like, it was a lot different game for me, and I think I learned so much from that, and learned from players that had already played pro that now could, could still go back and play at this junior college level.

And I was like, "Wait, like, maybe I, I c- I can do that." Like, and I got a lot of experience from playing with some of those players.
