I really thought they would have more.

So I ended up with a – you guys are going to laugh at me, but I got a Sapporo just because I figure, you know, they do a good rice lager, so let's see what it's like.

And then this German thing, it's called Erdinger.

Erdinger.

I have my little cooler right beside me because I didn't know how long this was going to take.

And the Edgar.

So actually when I went down and bought the non-alcoholic beers, like I was told, I came home at like 1.30, middle afternoon, and I popped a Sapporo.

Like, why not? It's the middle of a work day.

And the brewery grew very quickly.

And in 2006, Sapporo purchased Sleeman Breweries.

Again, the idea of selling wasn't something we wanted to do.

We were, unfortunately, based on our ownership of the brewery, we were kind of forced to.

But we couldn't have been happier to have Sapporo come on and take us on.

They kept the employees, they kept the breweries open.

You know, it wasn't a hostile takeover by any means.

As we have better terms of trade, that there will be more jobs.

As we just saw, Sapporo Brewery, Japanese brewer, announced that they were relocating into the U.S. That helps the American people.

So that's one example.

Sapporo Reserve.

Some Sapporo Reserve, again, paired with the Wasabi Soy Sauce Flavored Potato Chips.

The new Autumn Breeze with no definition at all about what that is.

And the new Kirinzan Lemonade Sake.

I'm going to do the I'm going to do the Sapporo Reserve because I know it I've been to Japan a couple times and Sapporo is like Bud Light over there so I'll do that

Even though his economy is about one-tenth of the United States, he declared a trade war.

How's that going? Well, Sapporo Beer said they're not going to manufacture in Canada anymore.

They're moving their manufacturing facilities to the United States.

So is Jeep.

The trade war has already had ripple effects.

Sapporo Breweries Limited is moving some production to the U.S. from Canada because of the 50% tariffs imposed on beer exports from the country.

And frankly, I hope that things will be over soon because if this lasts for a long time, you're going to not only see companies pivot and start buying elsewhere, but you're likely going to see companies hedging against tariffs and perhaps relocating tariffs.

To the United States, which is exactly what we heard from Sapporo this week.

They're looking into moving some of their production down to the U.S. because of tariffs.

Yeah.

And that's heartbreaking because let me tell you how refreshing a Sapporo is at the end of a hot day.

Absolutely.

And Sapporo actually bought Sleeman's back in 2006 out of Guelph, Ontario.
