San Francisco SPCA

I don't agree with either of them on many things, but I have known Scott for many years.

I interviewed him When I was at the Marina Times and he was instrumental in helping San Francisco Animal Care and Control, for example, get their new shelter, even though the powerful San Francisco SPCA was trying to prevent it, he's a wonk.

He's a definite legislative wonk, good at what he does.

I think that he was the only real choice.

Whether or not that happens is going to dictate how much lower and how much longer gas prices could potentially fall.

And the San Francisco SPCA is cheering on the Valkyries the best way a shelter knows how.

As KCBS's David Welch reports, it's handing out team names to puppies and kittens up for adoption.

The names come from the players and the team's mascot.

Now it's time to meet our perfect pet of the week.

Yep, his name, Mitch, and he comes to us from the San Francisco SPCA.

He is a one-year-old shepherd mix.

His one true passion in life is playing fetch.

If you want a fun, young, [laughs] energetic dog, Mitch is your guy.

Look at him looking at the camera.

If you'd like to meet Mitch, contact the San Francisco SPCA at the number on your screen.

His adoption fee has already been sponsored.
