San Francisco 49ers

So I don't know if it's a week one thing.

Like, there was some stuff I'd saw in college where I'm thinking, like, are the offenses just completely out of sync? Is the same thing gonna happen in the NFL? And then you had the first two games that we had between San Francisco and the Rams where I felt like there was a lot of sloppiness offensively, and then even more so, but maybe that's 'cause Drew Lock's in and not Sam Darnold, and it's, it's Drake May facing a defense, even with Seattle down a couple guys in defensive backs.

I was like, are we gonna see, like, a weird defensive correction here? We've seen the pendulum, but we're getting the same result with a completely different, like, base setup of what teams are doing, which I think is crazy that it's happened so quickly in just a few years.

Yeah, and, and there'll be a regression.

We got an opportunity to grab a lunch in real life last week, and that game had happened.

And I think my big takeaway, especially from the first drive of that game, is like why didn't the Mike Evans to San Francisco get more airtime or coverage? When that happened, I was like, man, that seems like just what Brock Purdy needs, a reliable, soon-to-be Hall of Fame vet, and there's been no steps lost.

I think Mike Evans fits in perfectly with the Kyle Shanahan offense and what they're trying to do in San Francisco.

And if I'm a Niners fan, that, that team is dangerous.

It's loaded with guys.

Everyone's healthy right now, and that team has never been healthy.

So look out San Francisco 49ers.

I think he's just a plug and place option for the Niners.

Back-to-back, no practice days for Christian McCaffrey Wednesday and Thursday.

I mean, I know we're happy if he gets his rest in practice, I suppose.

Everybody, whatever you want to attribute on that giant pie to the travel, fine.

But San Francisco did what they wanted.

And Matthew Stafford looked like the 38, 39-year-old guy he was, right? Miles Garrett was grossly ineffective.
