Then you had two ladies tied at seventh, Anais Ogi from Denison and Natalia Finucci, also from Denison.

Also tied for ninth was Maddie Cameron from Christopher Newport and Dunja Bizzari from Oglethorpe University.

Up in Southern Illinois near Effingham, on your way up to Rose-Hulman where Jake's going to college, there's this town called Casey, Illinois.

And I'm like, oh, I've heard about Casey on Sunday morning.

Mm-hmm.

And, uh, sometimes it was just great school, right? Where every, like, so, like, a- another good example is, like, Rose-Hulman is a very incredibly tiny school in Indiana.

Right.

Super well known.

collaborate with the other R1s as well as Rose-Hulman to build a thoughtful community that I think can be differentiated both nationally and globally.

And so whether that means recruiting top faculty talent into this area, recruiting faculty talent that we think may have relevance to this area but may not currently see themselves doing work in the biosciences space, or changing just quite frankly the way we interact in physical spaces with industrial partners to increase the probability that the basic science and basic research advancements that happen at the universities gets translated at pace and at scale into industry.

I think that's a powerful idea.

On the individual side, Pablo Castro from Illinois Wesleyan and Brendan Hermanski from Shenandoah tied for first, both at nine under par.

Then you have Division III, where they're not technically allowed to give any, um, any sponsor- or any scholarships at all.

So like Rose-Hulman and DePauw and Wabash are all Division III schools, and they, they give scholarships to people, but not for sports.

Uh, so th- they're academic scholarships, essentially.

So that's how the breakdown works.

IU's doing the sequencing, but working with the other universities on, you know, looking at commercialization and research impacts.

Catalyze Indiana, you know, funded with IU, Purdue, Notre Dame, and Rose-Hulman, and how... how the catalyst scholars fund can help develop more of that, uh, for more efficient, you know, drug discovery and things.

And the MSK engine, I use obviously the lead institution and taking on, um, you know, a lion's share of that, but Purdue and Notre Dame and Ivy tech are all key members of that.

So that collaboration is really, really happening.

WashU, as you mentioned, they were impeccable against Rhodes.

And DePauw's week one win at Rose-Hulman was a little uneven, we'll say.

The Tigers, they battled back from a 16-7 deficit to get a 31-23 win in Terre Haute.

But now looking ahead to this game, WashU certainly came out in week one the more polished product, let's say.

Much of Rod's childhood was spent in Texas until the family moved back north and put down roots in Kendallville, Indiana.
