Ring Pop

They say that this is the wedding collection.

It's Ring Pop's first ever foray into the wedding space.

And the idea is it's a collection of ring pops that are made with a pearly white ring base.

And the colors of the candy are pastel purples, pinks, and yellows.

The idea is not that you will use the ring pop as your wedding ring, but that you could integrate ring pops into your wedding celebrations.

So I think they're thinking more for like bachelorette parties or something.

These ring pops will come in a pack of 15, and they are colored in white and gold and read things like, off the market, I said yes,

and I'm yours.

And honestly, even though this is a pretty lily-white neighborhood we live in, the kids were excited about them.

It was very cool to see kids who wanted to get the Ring Pop that was spicy papaya flavored or

whatever it was.

These kids were down.

Yeah, you didn't know any better.

[laughs] Jessica says, "When I was in 3rd grade, 1989, 1990, my boyfriend proposed to me at recess with a Ring Pop." Classic.

So that's, you know, that's about right.

Uh, And yeah, so he's just ripping tires off it, and then my daughter's like, her birthday was four days later, and she's like, when I have my birthday party, I want a bigger monster truck, and I want Ring Pops, and I want Pez, and I want a big massive chocolate chip cookie cake, and I want french fries, and I want Burger King, and I want this, and then there'll be many more gifts, and then she's just pacing around the island, tapping her chin with her index finger going... hmm, what else could I want for my birthday? I'm like, sweetie, you can't just like come up with this laundry list of stuff.

I'm like, that's kind of a lot of stuff as it is.

And she's like, okay, but the most important thing is my massive chocolate chip cookie cake.

I had no idea what it was.

I thought maybe it was, like, a Ring Pop, but Thailand style or something.

Like a root beer flavored Ring Pop or something.

And when I was a kid, we were done eating the pop, the candy.

We would keep the rings and pretend that the rings were from the TV cartoon Captain Planet.
