You see someone do something, another coach do something, and you think it's a good idea, of course you're going to do it.

And he talked about how at the University of Red Deer, when he was just starting out as a coach at Red Deer College, they'd come up and play Perry Pern at NAIT, and he learned, he saw his Pern systems, Pern practices, he learned a lot, and he went about beating Perry Pern then.

Same happened in the Western Hockey League when he coached there with Don Hay at Kamloops.

Best coach in the league.

I mean, guys you'd know good.

Al Ferchuck hired me at Red Deer College, like, a thousand years ago, and, I mean, he was a great coach.

And then we played in a league that Nate was in, and Ferry Fern was the head coach at Nate, and he was way better than me, so I called R&D.

Rob and Doug stole everything he did, and we just did and tried to beat them.

So the SAIT Trojans did not play this weekend, uh, in the ACAC, but Calgary's other team did, or teams did, rather, uh, those being the Ambrose Lions.

Uh, on the men's side, they hosted Red Deer Polytechnic on Saturday, lost that game 3-0, which means that the Lions have one win and two defeats in their first three games.

They will be back at home on Sunday for their next game, which will be against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers.

For the women's team, they lost to Red Deer Polytechnic 6-0.

Well, we know that, uh, Red Deer is pretty strong.

However, they were smarting from their own 6-0 beat down by SAIT, uh, the weekend prior.

I think this is the only match that's happening this long weekend in Calgary.

They're going to play Red Deer Polytechnic on Saturday afternoon here in town.

Yeah, the women will play at noon and then the men will follow immediately after at 2.15pm.

And I started playing guitar and never really, you know, being from a small town growing up in the 80s, never really understanding like how you got from being somebody who liked to sing, play guitar to making records and, you know, and doing that kind of thing.

But You know, I made the leap when I got older and went to college and studied music for a couple of years at Red Deer College.

And then from there, I took off.

I joined a country cover band and started playing six nights a week.

Yeah.

It's not Red Deer College or something.
